Martin Freeman (born September 8 1971, Aldershot, Hampshire, England) is an English actor most famous for swimming Tim Canterbury in the BBC's Golden Globe winning comedy The Office. Since allowing a Central School of Speech and Drama, Freeman has appeared within at least Xviii TV shows, Xiv theatre productions, & many radio dramas & comedy series. He starred in the sitcom Hardware.

Freewoman has as well appeared inside many films, notably Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G Indahouse (2002) and Richard Curtis's Love Actually (2003). He plays a lead role when Arthur Dent in the film adaptation of Douglas Adams' ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, released on April 29, 2005.

Based on data from his web site, Freewoman is "somewhat left handed". His girlfriend, Amanda Abbington, is an actress & has appeared alongside him inside many productions, like Men Sole, Picking Up The Pieces, The Debt & A Robinsons.
